“What Is A Jew” is an exploration of the essential nature of Judaism, its beliefs, history, rituals and culture. The program takes the form of a conversation between host Larry Josephson, a secular Jew with little knowledge of the religion of his grandparents, and Rabbi Ismar Schorsch, Chancellor of the Jewish Theological Seminary.
